• Open Studio registration — full name, email address, and Instagram handle.
• Community account (via Manus OAuth) — name, email address, and profile picture.
• Workshop payments — processed by Stripe. We do not store card details.
• Community posts and reactions — stored to provide forum functionality.
• Automatically collected — IP address, browser type, and interaction data via Cloudflare for security and performance purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve our services.
• Send Zoom links, receipts, and account updates.
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the experience.
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the following service providers, and only as necessary to operate our services:

• Stripe — payment processing for workshops.
• Zoom — delivery of live sessions.
• Manus — OAuth authentication for community accounts.
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and security.
• We may also disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of NYRC and its community.

Data Security

We implement HTTPS, HTTP security headers (including HSTS and Content-Security-Policy), server-side input sanitization, and rate limiting to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. You may opt out of promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such email.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
